Innovation ist kein Zufallsprodukt, sondern Ausdruck der inneren Logik eines Systems – seiner Kultur, seiner Werte und seiner Fähigkeit zu lernen. Sie entsteht dort, wo Menschen und Organisationen bereit sind, Gewohntes infrage zu stellen und Unsicherheit als Voraussetzung von Entwicklung zu begreifen.
Forschung zu Innovation untersucht daher weniger die Idee selbst als die Bedingungen, unter denen Neues möglich wird. Sie fragt, welche kulturellen, psychologischen und strukturellen Faktoren bestimmen, ob Organisationen Wandel zulassen oder abwehren. Innovation ist in diesem Sinn kein Ereignis, sondern ein Prozess kollektiver Intelligenz – das Zusammenspiel von Haltung, Führung und Vertrauen.
In einem internationalen Kontext zeigt sich, dass Innovationsfähigkeit stark von kulturellen Mustern abhängt: von der Art, wie Menschen Risiken bewerten, Autorität interpretieren und Zusammenarbeit gestalten. Innovation verlangt Offenheit, aber auch Stabilität – sie braucht Systeme, die Abweichung nicht bestrafen, sondern als Ausdruck lebender Entwicklung verstehen.
